Description

Cool Whip Cookies are an easy and fun way to whip up soft, pillowy cookies in a snap. With just a few simple ingredients, these cookies can be made in any flavor of your choosing, and they come out beautifully every time. Perfect for a quick dessert or a sweet treat to share.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) cake mix (any flavor: lemon, chocolate, strawberry, etc.)
  • 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip (whipped topping), thawed
  • 1 large egg
  • Optional: powdered sugar for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the cake mix, Cool Whip, and egg together in a bowl. The dough will be sticky—that’s normal!
  3. For easier handling, lightly chill the dough for 15–20 minutes (optional but helpful).
  4. Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions and roll into balls.
  5. Roll each ball in powdered sugar until fully coated (optional but classic!).
  6. Place on the baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the cookies are set but still soft.
  8. Let cool on the sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
